July & August 2019 - VET Conferences and Client Forums

It’s that time again, the start of a new financial year. Hopefully everyone remembered to submit their quality indicator reports for the previous year and your results are encouraging. The good news is the second half of 2019 is conference season in VET! There are several exciting conferences happening around the country, bringing together leaders, thinkers and providers from industry and government to explore all things VET.

Here’s a quick summary of what’s happening in the coming months:

Come say hello to us at the aXcelerate booth!

Were you at the VET CEO Conference in Sydney? Our sales executive Katie Mackay caught up with the lovely people from Nova Systems, Masters in Building and Training and St Francis Xavier College. Check it out:

Reporting Reminders

  • The quarterly AVETMISS collection window covering the period January to June 2019, will be open from 1 to 15 Aug 2019
  • ASQA Training Provider Briefings 2019 are being held throughout June and July and provide a great opportunity to discuss issues and ideas directly with senior ASQA decision makers
  • On 1 July 2019, new requirements for trainer/assessor credentials came into effect
  • The annual RTO registration charge is due by the 31 July 2019

Client forums

At the end of June two client forums were conducted by our Sales Executive Katie Mackay, in Brisbane and Melbourne. They were both fully booked out. These forums give users the opportunity to provide feedback on key elements of the system and to hear about new technologies and development projects aXcelerate have planned for the next six months. While some aspects of aXcelerate usability are covered, it is important to note that client forums are not intended as a system training session and are recommended for users who are already familiar with aXcelerate.

We will soon be announcing upcoming client forums in the second half of 2019 and extend an invitation to all of our RTO business owners and key aXcelerate users to attend.
